Sustainability Policy

360 Scotland Ltd. recognises that, as a local DMC (Destination Management Company), promoting Scotland as one of the most sustainable destinations in the world, it has a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods, with regular review points. We will encourage customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to do the same.

We aim to reduce our own environmental footprint, and to improve the green credentials of our supply chain by committing to the following:

  • Reduce
    • The use of paper; branded signage; menus; packaging
    • Single-use plastics and plastic bags
    • Travelling; Commuting and use public transport where possible
    • Electricity and water use; heating
    • Stationary and equipment; evaluate if renting/sharing is an option before purchasing equipment
    • Transportation by using venues, hotels, restaurants within walking distance and/or centrally located venues
    • Food waste
  • Re-use
    • All Paper; Packages; non-personalised Branding and Signage where possible
  • Recycle
    • Plastic bags; Packaging; Materials
    • Paper
  • Buying from / working with responsible, local and “green” suppliers incl. venues, hotels, catering companies, restaurants
  • Selling and promoting sustainable services and offer “sustainable events & incentives” in Scotland to our clients
  • Education of staff, suppliers, clients, delegates and other stakeholders on sustainability and “green” events
  • We will continually improve and reduce environmental impacts as well as monitor and improve our environmental performance
